New

  • Account admins can now export a list of all users to a .csv file providing better visibility and monitoring on account users. This is especially helpful for customers that have a large number of users which is an increasing trend. This new feature is accessed through Settings - Account - Users where you'll find a new Export Users button. Exported values include first name, last name, email, last active, seat in use, whether they have admin rights and user roles by product line and product.

  • SAML 2.0 Single Sign-On (SSO) for idea portals is now available providing another option for controlling who has access to both your public and private idea portals. Users can login to your ideas portal using their existing SAML-enabled ID provider such as Active Directory, OneLogin, PingIdentity, Okta, and many more. This is a new SSO option for idea portals which allows for use with public and private portals. You may also continue to use JSON Web Token (JWT) which only applies for private idea portals.

Improvements

  • On the heels of last week's launch of the new Aha! Reports, we have introduced the following improvements based on early customer feedback:

    • Release phase information is now available in the Features - List, Reports - List and Reports - Pivot. Available fields include release phase name, release phase description, release phase start, and release phase end.

    • Goals and initiatives descriptions are now available for inclusion in reports for communicating more information on product strategy to aid with getting everyone on-board.

    • You can now filter on to-dos including to-do assignee, to-do due date, and to-do status.

    • Swimlanes can now be colorized when choosing to colorize the swimlane row value.

  • Email notifications to Aha! users (not portal users) for new or updated Ideas have been enhanced to include additional information including vote count, subscriber count, portal visibility status and a link to view the idea in the portal

  • When an Admin clicks on the settings icon, they will now be directed to Product settings for the product selected in the product selector drop down. The product configuration settings are the primary intended destination the majority of the time that an admin goes into settings, thus eliminating unnecessary navigation. By starting in the product settings, this also better highlights the other setting options - Account and Personal - as they are located directly above the product settings.

  • You can now import releases without features or release phases from a csv file and immediately see a visual roadmap displaying a start date and end date. The development started on date is used to determine the start time of the release for the Home - Portfolio and Releases - Roadmap views.

Fixes

  • A permissions related fix was implemented to prevent Reviewers from being able to modify release dates and dependencies within the Releases Roadmap view.

  • It is now possible to change the identity provider for users back to password after disabling SSO. Previously, if the identity provider option was not changed to password prior to disabling SSO, it required re-enabling SSO to make the change.

  • The initial creation of a master release is now restricted to a maximum of 10 sub-releases. While more sub-releases can be added once the master release is created, the initial limitation of 10 upon creation is to ensure the successful creation of the master release by preventing possible time-outs.
