Set governance standards for every application
First, a quick review: Aha! Builder is the PM coding tool for creating prototypes and trusted business applications with AI. Think vibe coding, but with the kind of rigor enterprises need. It provides everything you need to operate secure, scalable applications — including a database, authentication, and secure hosting. You can also run quality, security, and compliance reviews before moving to production.
With today's update, Aha! Builder administrators can centrally manage application policies from a dedicated new Governance page. This enables you to put strong guardrails in place to ensure that every prototype and application meets company standards before it goes live.
Here is what you can do:
Monitor all applications: See a full list of applications with key details, including deployment status, authentication settings, and security review history.
Create default rules: Define who can deploy applications, limit authentication methods, and decide whether applications can include AI functionality (and more).
Apply rule templates: Specify custom rules for builds that need different guardrails. For example, if business applications get the default rules, prototypes might use a custom rule template.
Review at a glance: Sort, filter, and customize the application list to surface the information that matters to your team.
Governance controls give you the freedom to embrace PM coding while being confident your applications meet enterprise policies.
Governance is available for customers on the Aha! Builder Team and Aha! Builder Scale plans. Access to the Governance page is limited to administrators with Aha! Builder governance permissions.
How to get started
From the Governance page, head to the Rules tab to define the policies that apply to new builds by default.
Enable or disable the ability to:
Deploy to production
Build applications that can access the internet
Use only approved authentication providers
Add developer guest passes
Use AI features in applications
Use the Templates tab to create rule sets that differ from the default.
View all applications and their governance settings at a glance on the Applications tab.
