Centralize all your product discovery research in one place

by Claire George

"I can connect actual customer evidence to features on my roadmap. That is huge." This reaction to Aha! Discovery from a customer captures the value of linking real input to real decisions. Centralizing interview insights is a powerful start. And now, you can bring in everything else that shapes your thinking — like usage data, survey results, market research, and more.

Create a complete research repository by combining interviews and supporting research in one place.

Before we get into this week's update, a quick refresher: Aha! Discovery is purpose-built to manage customer interviews and accelerate transcript analysis with AI. You can use it as a standalone tool or alongside Aha! Roadmaps to tie the voice of the customer directly to your product plans.

Starting today, you can bring in other types of research too. Use the new Documents tab in the Studies section to create notes, import PDFs, and link to references like dashboards or shared reports. Organize everything in a structured folder hierarchy. You can also link directly to supporting research within a study summary or insights report — keeping related documents accessible as you analyze and share findings.

If you use Aha! Discovery with Aha! Roadmaps, you can also link to existing notes and whiteboards from any Aha! Roadmaps workspace. And you have access to our growing template library to structure interviews, organize themes, and document findings.

Let's take a closer look at how you can assemble your research:

Organize discovery documents

Start by getting everything in order. You can write fresh notes or import existing docs. Then, group materials by study, reference type, or research topic — whatever matches your process. In the example below, we used folders to separate study-specific research from planning docs and best practices.

Reference what matters

Help others understand the research behind your findings. Link relevant materials (such as survey results, market briefs, or competitive analysis) in your study summary or insights report. This gives teammates the context they need to interpret findings and explore supporting details.

Use the AI assistant to draft a summary of your research study.

Centralize your research and create a clearer through line from discovery to decision.

Every research input should be easy to reference and apply. Keeping everything in one place helps the team stay focused on what you are learning and how it shapes your plans.
