Share interactive Now, Next, Later roadmaps

The Now, Next, Later roadmap has quickly become a very popular view in Aha! Roadmaps. It is an ideal way to show what is coming and rally the team around high-level plans — without having to commit to specific launch dates. Of course, folks often have questions about what is planned. Today's update gives stakeholders the ability to drill into the details and gain additional context.

Share your Now, Next, Later roadmap as an interactive webpage so everyone on the team can understand the work that is planned.

You could already share this type of roadmap as a static webpage, even with colleagues who do not have an Aha! Roadmaps account. But before today, viewers could not preview any additional information about the initiatives, epics, or features on your plan.

When you publish your Now, Next, Later roadmap as a webpage, you will now see two new settings: Allow filtering and Allow drill-in. Enable filtering to give viewers the ability to zero in on the work that matters most to them. You can then add the filters you want to display (workspace name or feature status, for example) to your shared roadmap view and save it. Allow folks to drill in so they can see additional details about each workspace, initiative, epic, or feature on your roadmap. Simply choose the fields you want them to see when they click on each record type.

In the example below, we created a fictitious Now, Next, Later roadmap to share with a sales team. Workspace filters allow each sales rep to quickly find the work that is most relevant to them. And when they want to learn more about a specific feature, clicking reveals a clear description along with the linked goals and initiatives.

Give the team a deeper understanding of everything you have in store, no matter where you are in the planning cycle.

Do not wait for the perfect moment to share your product plans. Use the Now, Next, Later roadmap to present what you know now about the work that is planned. You can move to a time-based roadmap later as dates become more certain. This way, your team can always access the information it needs — and you can all stay focused on what you are working toward together.
