The Aha! Ideas + Salesforce integration already makes it easy for customer-facing teams to add feature requests to your portal right from Salesforce. And they can track the statuses of those requests, too. This helps them set clear expectations with customers about what is coming and when.

Of course, folks share their feedback in many different ways — including directly in your ideas portal and via proxy votes. Before today, the Aha! Ideas component only showed ideas submitted through Salesforce. This made it difficult for account managers and sales teams to see the full picture of customer feedback. Now, they can see everything in one view.

Here is what customer-facing teams can do now in Salesforce:

  • See every idea: View all the requests associated with an account and their statuses.

  • Track engagement: See how many votes an idea received from the account and who added them.

  • Stay up to date on progress: Create Salesforce reports to analyze feedback trends and set up custom tracking.

This gives account management teams the context they need to manage relationships, prepare for renewals, and advocate effectively.

Today's update is available for customers on the Aha! Ideas Advanced plan who use the Salesforce integration.

How to get started

  1. Head to the Salesforce integration section in your Account settings in Aha! Ideas.

  2. Under Capture ideas, enable Sync organization ideas to sync all idea data to Salesforce.

  3. Click the button to Send organizations to ideas. You only need to do this the first time you enable the setting.

  4. Now, new ideas will automatically sync to Salesforce when they are linked to organizations in your Aha! account.

Pro tip: Install the latest Aha! Ideas package in Salesforce to get an updated look and feel. This makes idea data (like status) easier to absorb at a glance.
