Some product support articles solve problems. Others leave readers more confused than when they started. Pageviews do not tell you which is which — but reader feedback does. So why not ask directly?

Now, you can use Aha! Knowledge to immediately collect ratings and comments on articles in your knowledge base. This helps you see what works and what needs improvement.

Get reader feedback on your knowledge base

Aha! Knowledge helps you centralize product information so customers can find answers fast. You could already track how customers use and search your content with built-in reporting. Now, you can also gather feedback on individual articles. Enable user feedback in your knowledge base settings, and readers will be able to rate articles as helpful or not and add an optional comment for context.

Here is what you can do:

  • Measure articles' helpfulness and prioritize updates.

  • Review reader comments to guide improvements.

  • Track data over time to see the impact of updates.

This makes it easier to spot patterns and focus on documentation that needs the most attention.

When you publish a new version of a document, knowledge base readers can add another rating. This helps you see whether your changes improved the article.

How to get started

  1. Head to Knowledge base settings Overview General.

  2. Click Enable user feedback (enabled by default for new customers). This adds a feedback widget to each article in your knowledge base.

  3. Readers can rate the article as helpful or not helpful and leave an optional comment.

  4. Review feedback and comments on the new Feedback page in Knowledge base management.
