Aha! Discovery now integrates with your Microsoft Outlook calendar

by Claire George

"Do you integrate with Microsoft Outlook?" This is a question customers have increasingly asked since we launched Aha! Discovery. It is no surprise — many product teams depend on Microsoft Outlook to manage their schedules. And simple, reliable scheduling is essential for talking to more customers. This week, we are excited to say: "Yes, we do."

Sync your Microsoft Outlook calendar to Aha! Discovery to schedule customer interviews with ease.

Product managers, researchers, and UX teams all need to talk to customers. But managing the logistics can be a pain. Aha! Discovery brings structure to the outreach process — you can source participants directly from your ideas portal or Salesforce instance, maintain a central participant database, and invite people to choose a time that works for them. You can even set your meeting location automatically with a Microsoft Teams or Zoom link.

Now, you can go a step further. The new Microsoft Outlook calendar integration for Aha! Discovery Advanced makes it even easier to find time to meet. Set it up in your Personal settings under the new Calendar sync section. When you create a meeting from the scheduling page, choose your calendar in the Availability dropdown. Participants will only see times when you are free — avoiding conflicts and reducing back-and-forth.

Let's take a closer look:

Customize your availability

Decide exactly when participants can book time with you. Set your weekly hours, define how far in advance participants can schedule, and specify how much notice you need. Then, select your calendar in the Availability dropdown. You can include multiple Outlook calendars if your team shares interview responsibilities. To avoid scheduling hassles, participants will only see times when at least one person is free.

Choose between individual or focus group meetings under the new Meeting types option.

Invites sent! Once participants pick a time, everyone receives a calendar invite. And if you set up your integration with Read and write access, the new meeting is automatically added to your calendar with participants as invitees — so everything stays in sync if plans change.

Customize your scheduling page with your company's branding so every customer interaction feels familiar.
