You can already select a specific section of the transcript to summarize with AI or highlight as a learning, quote, or answer to a question. Now you also have the option to add custom interview tags. This is useful if, for example, you want to group feedback by product capabilities or spotlight moments of joy or frustration. You can then filter the Highlights panel by tag to review your observations. Soon you will also be able to analyze findings across multiple interviews in a list report.
Set up the interview tags you want to use in your account settings. This makes it easy for the team to note important information in a consistent way. Below, we are reviewing a transcript from a recent interview with a Fredwin Cycling user (our fictitious cycling app). We tag feedback related to key areas of the application. This helps us quickly identify points of friction so we can improve the experience.
If you use Aha! Discovery as an integrated part of Aha! Roadmaps or Aha! Ideas, you will now see two types of tags in your account settings — general and interview. This streamlines how you create and manage tags based on their purpose.
