Inc. names Aha! one of the best places to work in 2025

by Aha!

Do exceptional work and be happy doing it. Our company has always aimed to build a culture where people can thrive. This is why we are self-funded, fully remote, and celebrate our success with generous profit sharing for the entire team. We strive to create real value and find joy in what we achieve together.

Today, we are honored to share that Aha! has once again been recognized for our exceptional company culture. Inc. has named us one of the best places to work in 2025.

This recognition comes at a time of real momentum for our team. Aha! co-founder and CEO, Brian de Haaff, was recently named Thought Leader of the Year in the Business Products category of the 2025 American Business Awards — receiving a Gold Stevie Award. It is especially meaningful to now see the company honored alongside our leadership.

Inc.'s annual Best Workplaces list is based on a rigorous evaluation and in-depth employee survey. Members of the Aha! team shared their candid feedback on company leadership, culture, and opportunities for growth. That input, combined with a review of our benefits and company practices, resulted in an overall score that placed us among the top workplaces in the country.

We were also named to this list back in 2018. It is gratifying to be recognized again as an organization where people (still) love to work each day.

A big reason for this is that we work differently to build better. Our Minimum Lovable Product approach means every release is focused, high quality, and delivers immediate customer benefit. This mindset is woven into The Aha! Framework, a strategic and flexible approach to product development that has powered our success for more than a decade.

Putting people first allows us to serve our customers (and team members) better. We use The Responsive Method to do this — ensuring that we move with urgency, accountability, and transparency to deliver meaningful outcomes fast.

We also built Aha! to last. The principles of the Bootstrap Movement shape how we operate: self-funded, highly efficient, profitable, and built for long-term success. We believe in sustainable growth and real value over valuation. This allows us to generously support nonprofit organizations in communities around the world through Aha! Cares, our unique philanthropic giving program.

We find pride and joy in the adventure of building together. And we are proud to be among the best places to work in the United States. As we continue to grow, we stay focused on our vision to help create a world of more lovable software.

Our team is happy, productive, and hiring — join us!
