New ways to use AI-powered search in Aha! software

You field questions all day long from teammates, leaders, and customers. And you have your own questions too. Many of the answers live in your Aha! account, but finding exactly what you need can take time. That is why we built AI-powered search. When Aha! software is your source of truth for product data, AI search helps you find what you need fast — so you can support others and stay focused.

Answer questions faster with expanded AI-powered search capabilities, including new filters, more record types, and the option to view your search results in a report.

We launched AI-powered search earlier this year. (Check it out via the magnifying glass icon at the top-right in Aha! software.) This functionality lets you ask a question about product information, and the AI assistant sorts through your data to provide answers. You can add follow-up questions to refine your search.

Of course, once you find the data you are looking for, you need to take action. Today's update expands the data you can search for and improves your search results experience. Now, you can search for broader date ranges, tags, votes, and more. And you can find nearly any record type — we just added requirements, goals, initiatives, and epics. Plus, you can instantly open a list report view of your search results, which is perfect for bulk editing and deeper analysis.

Try asking for specific product data, such as:

  • Requirements due next week

  • Features without a due date

  • Bugs we fixed last quarter

  • Epics with delivery risks

  • Ideas about X with Y votes

Here is some more search inspiration:

Customer feedback fuels innovation. Say we are planning an activity-tracking enhancement for a fictitious fitness application called Fredwin Cycling, and we want to know which related ideas are gaining momentum. From search (open with the / shortcut), we ask for ideas in this product area with at least five votes. This reveals which requests are resonating the most, and we can instantly open them in a list report view for further consideration.

Add columns to your report to review ideas with more context, such as total vote count, organizations, and revenue.

Review shipped work

In our next example, we want a clear view of all the bug fixes we shipped this year. This helps us assess delivery progress and understand where issues are recurring. So we simply ask for this feature type and time frame. From there, we can filter by workspace type, open individual features, or analyze the results in a report.
