Aha! — Beautiful Roadmapping Software

by Brian de Haaff

Go back in time about three months to May 1. The Dr. (aka Chris) and I were just announcing our plans for Aha! — the new way to create brilliant roadmaps — and were assembling a talented global team. We wanted to help product management and engineering folks build software that mattered and be happy doing it. It’s probably obvious that we wanted that for ourselves too.

We knew after a few early customer meetings that we were on to a special idea, but we never would have guessed that three short months would have led to this:

150+ customer meetings 600+ beta registrations 1,200+ retweets and LinkedIn posts about Aha! 50,000+ readers of our blog

But we are most grateful that we have had a chance to get to know many of you, hear your stories, and learn from your experience.

There is nothing more rewarding than to build something that people benefit from and enjoy, and your enthusiasm and encouragement continues to power us. We wish the beta could go on forever, but we are ready to graduate and take the next step towards building a significant and lasting business.

That journey starts now. It’s going to be exciting creating a new category of software (again) and we hope that you will join us.

Our new Web site is live and now you and every product manager who is looking to get his mojo back (and every engineer who is looking to build greatness) can sign up.

Creating great software is invigorating. Product managers and engineers should be the happiest people on earth. But most companies never benefit from your love of innovation, because you are beaten down by soft strategies, weak tools, and squishy communication. Aha! is the first tool to help slightly wounded software development teams get strong and get going.

If you have MVPd yourself to an unsatisfactory product, it might be time for an Aha! moment. If you still use Microsoft Word, Excel, PPT, napkins and wikis to share ideas and lead product; you know there must be a better way. We understand that it’s not easy and that your business colleagues want to know what’s coming next and why and engineering needs detailed requirements and user stories.

We built Aha! for you and it’s time to lead your product with conviction. Take a radical new approach to product strategy, roadmapping, and clear requirements definition because your company needs it and you deserve to build the future and enjoy what you do.

If you have not already, sign up for our free 30 day trial. We promise to delight.
