A Fresh New Look for Your Roadmaps
Did you know that product builders have built nearly 2 million roadmaps in Aha! Roadmaps? That is a lot of product plans. While you can use a variety of roadmap templates to quickly showcase those plans, many of you love using the custom roadmap — which gives the greatest flexibility to craft the perfect visual. You get complete control over what you display on your timeline, along with the colors and layout. Today we are introducing a revamped design for custom roadmaps so you can communicate your plans with even greater clarity and impact.
Custom roadmaps have a bold new look — with fresh styling, eye-catching icons, and updated fonts — for an even more lovable experience.
The first thing you will notice is that the new design balances information and white space more economically, so readers can see more data in a single view. Larger font sizes and updated text stylings make information easier to read and absorb. You will also see that icons are larger and color-coded to stand out more clearly. And new assignee avatars help you quickly track who owns each item.
As part of today's update, we also made it easier to modify the style of your custom roadmap. Open the new configure menu in the right sidebar to select a theme, adjust the color palette, and more. Changes you make are applied in real time — so you can quickly create the perfect visualization.
The updated design is now live in all Aha! Roadmaps accounts. It has been automatically applied to existing and new custom roadmaps. Let's take a closer look at the bold new design:
Showcase your plans with pride
Imagine you want to create a roadmap to show your plans for the second half of 2023. You want to highlight how major features connect to your overarching goals, initiatives, and epics. The custom roadmap is perfect for this. In the example below, we are showing key details about each feature — such as assignee and product value score. With the added visual flair, we can display more details and clearly communicate our plans for the rest of the year.
Use the Timeline menu to focus your roadmap on the right date range.
