Integrate with GitHub Copilot

Send work from Aha! Develop to your Copilot coding agent

Embed AI into your development workflow

Move faster from planned work to finished code. Define tasks in Aha! Develop and send them directly to GitHub Copilot. This gives the AI coding agent the full context it needs — without having to switch tools. Offload routine tasks so you can stay focused on implementing the next big feature.

Send features and requirements from Aha! Develop to GitHub Copilot
Turn features into code, faster

Spin up GitHub Copilot directly from Aha! Develop — so your AI agent can start coding while you focus on other work. The integration sends over the full details about a feature or requirement, including the title, description, and to-dos. This gives the coding agent everything it needs to start work.

Review pull requests

Stay in control of code quality. When Copilot completes a task, it automatically opens a pull request in your GitHub repository. Set up the GitHub integration to move the feature or requirement into Code review status in Aha! Develop. This makes it easy to track progress — so you can jump in to review changes, request refinements, and confirm that the code is ready to merge.

Integrations in Aha! Develop are powered by extensions that are easy to install and set up. Choose from our growing library of open-source extensions to connect with all the tools your team uses to build lovable products.

Installation details:

  • Account administrators can install the GitHub Copilot extension from the extension library

  • Configure the extension with your GitHub repository and custom agent instructions

  • Add the Copilot custom field to your record's custom layout — so you can start a coding session with one click

Read our support documentation for more details. Or contact our Customer Success team at support@aha.io for help setting up your integration.

GitHub Copilot is an AI coding assistant that helps you write code faster and with less effort. The Copilot coding agent can work independently in the background to complete tasks, just like a human developer. It can fix bugs, implement incremental new features, improve test coverage, update documentation, and address technical debt.

If you need assistance with your Copilot subscription or account settings, please contact GitHub Support.
