Our team

Our marketing team is a highly collaborative group of experts across campaigns, content, creative, knowledge base, and product marketing. We are responsible for driving growth — there is no sales team.

We move quickly and hold ourselves to a high standard. We are curious about our market, customers, and products. And we take pride in clearly communicating the value we deliver.

We are power users of our own software, specifically Aha! Roadmaps and Aha! Teamwork. We work within North American time zones so we can support one another and do our best work together.

Our programs

The content and communications group shapes the Aha! voice. We own a broad range of content, including blog posts, educational guides, newsletters, and social. We are deadline-driven — we embrace direct feedback and rapid revision cycles to produce high-quality work.

Our core audience is product development teams. We care deeply about sharing expert guidance and refreshing perspectives, inspiring our readers to embrace new ways of working (including AI-driven workflows). We champion our unique philosophy on building lovable products and our suite of tools that help customers achieve the best outcomes.

You

You are an exceptional writer. You do not just explain ideas — you sharpen them by communicating complex concepts with nuance. You are skilled at matching voice and style and can move confidently from research to outline to polished draft.

You are curious. You learn quickly. You actively build domain expertise so your writing is credible and insightful. You welcome feedback and apply it thoughtfully — always seeking to improve your writing and help others improve theirs.

You also have:

  • Seven+ years of experience writing and editing thought leadership content — ideally covering tech, startups, and/or product development topics

  • Strong command of voice, style, and long-form storytelling

  • Confidence creating content independently across a range of channels

  • Experience editing and elevating cross-functional content

  • A desire to learn about our market, customers, and products, including AI capabilities

  • Experience using AI to accelerate and refine your work (never as a substitute for original thinking)

We offer comprehensive benefits — including profit sharing — and aim to provide equivalent coverage for international teammates.

  • U.S. base salary range: $90,000-$155,000, plus profit sharing

  • Retirement contributions: Percentage of total pay, contributed monthly

  • Medical, dental, and vision: Many teammates are covered at 100%

  • Paid time off: Up to 200 hours off per year

  • Parental leave: 30 to 90 days, plus paid care/bereavement leave

  • Learning stipend: Up to $1,000 annually, plus paid learning time

  • Volunteer opportunities: Available throughout the year

Base salary and total compensation are dependent upon many factors, including skills, experience, and relevant past roles.
