Aha! Roadmaps | Import Trello cards and lists
In addition to the Trello integration, there is also a Trello import. You can import cards and lists directly into Aha! Roadmaps from Trello. The import capabilities are important for teams that have outgrown Trello and are looking to take advantage of Aha! Roadmaps for more structured strategy, visual roadmapping, and detailed definition of features and requirements. You can use this new functionality to seed your Aha! account with features and requirements already captured in Trello.
Click any of the following links to skip ahead:
Login to your Trello account and generate an export file by navigating to a board, then clicking ... Show Menu ... More Print and Export Export as JSON. Save the file that is generated.
In your Aha! account, navigate to the Trello import.
For Aha! Roadmaps and Aha! Ideas, navigate to Settings ⚙️ Workspace Import from Trello. Choose the Aha! workspace that the features will be added to, and select the Trello file for import.
For Aha! Develop, navigate to Settings ⚙️ Team Import from Trello. Choose the Aha! team that the features will be added to, and select the Trello file for import.
The import process will confirm the number of Trello lists and cards imported as Aha! releases and features when the import is completed.
The following information can be automatically imported from Trello to Aha! Roadmaps:
Each list in the Trello file will become a parking lot with the same name.
Each card becomes a feature.
All tasks associated with a card become requirements.
Labels are transferred as tags.
Attachments are transferred as well.
Comments in Trello are not imported into your Aha! account.
The import will take place in the background and may take several minutes or longer depending on the amount of info that needs to be imported.
