  • How does the trial work?

    After you sign up for your trial, you get access to all Enterprise plan features for 30 days (including the integrations). You can invite all of your colleagues to your trial as well. After your trial is over you can purchase any of the plans.
  • Is the trial really free?

    Yes. A credit card is not required to start your 30 day trial, so you can try Aha! without any obligation.
  • What happens after the trial is over?

    Your trial is your permanent Aha! account and all your data and integrations will remain intact. Choose one of our plans and pay by credit card. You need to be an Admin and go to Account settings -> Billing. We also support invoices for annual plans with 5+ paid users. Contact us at to be invoiced. If you decide not to purchase, your account will expire.
  • How is my data stored?

    We know your strategy and roadmaps are extremely important to you and your business, and we take protecting them seriously. After all, our own business and product plans and the plans for thousands of other companies are hosted with Aha! as well. This is why every Aha! plan includes secure network communications over HTTPS and data encryption at rest. Read more about how we protect your data.
  • How do the plans compare?

    In the Premium plan, you pay for all users regardless of their role. In the Enterprise and Enterprise+ plans, you pay for the users who need to actively add and manage strategy, releases, and features. Unlimited Reviewers and Viewers are included in the Enterprise and Enterprise+ plans at no additional cost (read more about these user types under “Use Aha!”).
  • What are the billing options?

    We offer both monthly and annual billing. You can pay by credit card for all plans. Choose an annual plan for the additional option of invoice billing. We support invoicing for annual plans with 5+ paid users. Contact us at to be invoiced.
  • Can I manage paid users by teams?

    Yes, this is offered via our Enterprise+ plan. You can set up paid seat groups. They allow you to allocate licenses by team and assign administrators to each team.
  • Can I change plans after I sign up?

    Yes, you can switch from monthly to annual payments. And you can also upgrade from the Startup plan to any other plan and switch between the Premium and Enterprise plans. Contact us if you want to make a change.
  • Can I add or remove users?

    You can add or remove users at any time, but if you add users you will be billed the prorated amount immediately, not on the next recurring bill.
  • Do I pay for Ideas portal users?

    No. In all plans you can have unlimited Ideas portal users.
  • What's a Product Owner?

    A Product Owner is typically a product, project, marketing, or engineering manager who actively manages strategy, releases, ideas, features, and product launches. This role requires a paid seat.
  • What's a Contributor?

    A Contributor has the same capabilities as a Product Owner but cannot manage users or change most product configuration settings. This role requires a paid seat.
  • What’s a Reviewer?

    A Reviewer is a user who can see data about products they have been given permission to view. They can also comment on, create and complete to-dos. It is a perfect way to increase visibility across your organization by engaging management, engineering, marketing and other key stakeholders. You can have unlimited Reviewers at no additional cost in the Enterprise and Enterprise+ plans.
  • What’s a Viewer?

    A Viewer is a user who can see data about products they have been given permission to view. They can also answer to-dos. You can have unlimited Viewers at no additional cost in the Enterprise and Enterprise+ plans.
  • What integrations are available?

    We support tons of integrations including: JIRA, PivotalTracker, TFS, Trello, GitHub, Bitbucket, Zapier, Slack, and Zendesk.
  • Who can I share Notebooks with?

    You can securely share Notebooks with anyone, including non Aha! users.
  • Can I get my data out of Aha!

    Absolutely, your data is yours. Easily export your feature data from the Feature list view to a CSV whenever you want and use our robust Developer API as needed.
