Aha! Roadmaps | Link goals to other record types
Goals are a critical link between your strategic vision and the work you need to complete to achieve that vision. In Aha! Roadmaps, that link can be literal. Link your goals to multiple strategic initiatives — the large themes of work that will implement the goal — or to the releases and features that are the incremental steps to achieve the goal.

Link goals to initiatives
While goals can be independent entities, they are often achieved through high-level efforts called initiatives. You can link the initiatives that drive you towards your goals right from a goal's (or an initiative's) detail or drawer view, on the Overview tab.
Link goals to your everyday work
You need to ensure that the work your team completes links to your strategic goals. This helps your team prioritize the work they do based on its strategic impact. You can also show key stakeholders how your team's work directly affects your strategy.
To link a record to one or more of your goals, open the record's detail or drawer view. Then, in the Goals field on the Overview tab, select the goal(s) that the record will affect.
Linked records in Aha! Roadmaps do not inherit any links from each other. For example, linking a goal to a release will not link any features associated with that release to the goal. Read this article if you also want to link initiatives to releases, features, or other Aha! Roadmaps records.
