June 4, 2020 retiring support for Internet Explorer 11 on August 4, 2020

Aha! will be removing support for Internet Explorer 11 on August 4, 2020. If you are currently using Internet Explorer 11, we recommend that you switch to Microsoft Edge or another supported browser.

The Microsoft Edge browser was released in 2015 to replace Internet Explorer. Now Microsoft recommends that Internet Explorer only be used for compatibility with older sites and applications. As a result, Internet Explorer no longer receives major updates to support the latest web standards.

Ending support for Internet Explorer 11 will allow Aha! to use modern web practices to improve performance and user experience as we continue adding new features each week. Almost all of our customers on Internet Explorer have already made the switch to Microsoft Edge or another supported browser.

What is changing?

Aha! will continue to be available in Internet Explorer 11 in the near term. However, new functionality may not work and any issues will not be fixed. At a future date to be determined based on usage, Aha! will fully remove its compatibility with Internet Explorer 11 in order to optimize the experience in modern browsers.

Beginning August 4, 2020, a message banner will be displayed at the top of the Aha! application in Internet Explorer recommending that the user switch to a supported browser.

What is affected?

The Aha! application, ideas portals, presentations, and report webpages.

Note: The banner message will only appear in the Aha! application.

How should I prepare?

Please switch to using Aha! in Microsoft Edge or another supported browser. If needed, reach out to your internal IT team for assistance configuring your browser.

Please contact support@aha.io if you have any questions.
