Load Impact’s automated software-as-a-service (SaaS) detects, predicts, and analyzes performance problems. We provide the information that businesses need to proactively optimize their websites, apps, and APIs for customers.
With its roots in work for NASDAQ and the European Space Agency, our Stockholm-based company has been redefining load and performance testing since 2009 by making it cost effective, instantly available, and easy to use.
We had a problem
Our organization is spread out around the world. This means that both high and low level tasks are also spread out globally across team members. The problem was that we did not have a single tool to help our entire organization track these high and low level tasks. As a result, communication broke down and work would get lost.
We were using a tool devoted to product roadmapping. Unfortunately, it was very hard for us to relate features to initiatives and goals using this tool. Estimation, tracking progress, and setting firm deadlines is difficult in software development — especially for features spanning multiple areas of expertise. The tool that we were using did not support our level of product development. So, we knew we needed an upgrade.
Aha! as a solution
Aha! has been that upgrade for us. Several aspects of the tool provide exactly what we had been missing. Starting our product development process with the Aha! Strategy section has been a game changer. The ability to define our high-level product strategy — as well as goals and initiatives that will achieve it — helps us work smarter than ever before.
The Aha! Features board is where we spend most of our time once strategy has been set. The Features board is where we manage our Details, List, and Workflow views. They all bring a level of transparency that was missing beforehand.
We’ve set up multiple products within Aha! For example, Marketing is established as its own product with corresponding tasks, features, and tags. This closes the gap between teams while increasing collaboration and transparency. It was previously tough to balance development initiatives with marketing needs. Aha! has helped us solve that problem.
Life is good
The collaboration and visibility features in Aha! help keep project management roles to a minimum. They also allow us to spend much less time in meetings explaining different product development needs.
Most importantly, Aha! has allowed us to set clear deadlines while being able to consider all congruent initiatives. We have a clearer picture of our workload capacity, and that helps a lot with planning. The result? More strategic goals and initiatives that yield happier customers and colleagues.
