Liquid operates in over 12 different African countries across several different timezones and reporting lines. This made it very difficult to keep track of who was doing what. We had no centralized way to streamline our product management work. As a result, we had no place to track strategy and have it connect to our product development. The customized Aha! notebooks are instantly updated in real time. This means there is no need to create completely new notebooks for each product stakeholder. Similarly, the Reports feature allows us to see what is scheduled for each release and where we should be directing more energy. This saves us hours of needless work each week.
Now, we use that extra time to link strategic objectives and key results back to high-level deliverables — which we also set and share. And the Aha! Idea portals are a lifesaver. Now, we have a unified place where all employees can submit ideas about how to improve Liquid’s product management. Our internal ideas portal is a central place that gives everyone a chance to share their insights, voice their opinions, and vote on which ones add the most strategic value.
