DRIVIN is revolutionizing the used car industry by combining data-driven technology with highly personalized service to help dealers acquire the right cars at the right prices. Our proprietary technology platform allows us to analyze more than 2 million vehicle VIN numbers every day. We analyze used car options, filtering out undesirable inventory. This ensures that we only present our dealer partners with top quality, front line ready vehicles that are ready to wash, wax, and sell. We source, while our dealer partners focus on sales.
DRIVIN wanted a seamless way to manage features across multiple products while providing transparency to senior management. To accomplish this, we needed a product management tool that offers easy integration with our development tracking tool (JIRA). A smooth transition between product and development teams is important to all of us. So, two-way integration between tools was a must. Finally, we wanted this tool to also manage idea generation — and link the best ideas right to our roadmap. Our team had so many great thoughts and ideas, but nowhere to put them. We needed an easy way to prioritize all submitted ideas and promote the best ones to features on our product roadmap.
Aha! was the all-in-one tool that our product team needed. We were able to create several products within Aha! and let each of our product managers efficiently build their roadmaps. Two-way integration between product and dev tools has also been a huge help. We were able to configure Aha! and JIRA in a matter of minutes. Information flows effortlessly between these tools. This cuts down on back-and-forth between teams. It also lets our product team convey requirements, attachments, and other key feature items to our technical team without worrying about lost information.
Finally, the Ideas Portal is a great place to collect ideas that can occur at any time. It is easy to jump into Aha! and record a new idea whether you are in a meeting, at home, or at your desk. When an idea is promoted to a feature, we can make it happen by clicking one button. Everyone who has advocated for that idea gets an automatic email notification.
Aha! has been a key component in driving success within DRIVIN’s product team. The tool’s easy integration with JIRA saves us all precious time on each sprint. This two-way integration means that updates in one tool are reflected automatically in the other tool.
