The marketing team is responsible for driving customer growth and expanding company awareness. We are fortunate to be the category leader in product development software and a recognized thought-leader in building great products and companies.

The Senior Digital Marketing Manager plays a critical role in executing paid media campaigns across paid search, paid social, display, and video. In this role, you will be responsible for driving Aha! trials by optimizing campaign performance and recommending innovative new ways to expand our audience. You will be responsible for regularly reporting on progress against goals, forecasting budgets, and modeling ROI to understand the efficacy of your campaigns. You will work closely with our website team to recommend improvements to landing pages to get the most from your campaigns.

We do our planning and collaboration in Aha! Roadmaps. We are power users of our own software, often providing feedback and suggestions for improvements that are shipped to customers too. We use Slack and Zoom for video calls. (Email? Rarely.)

Your experience

We are looking for a digital marketing star with 5+ years of experience implementing paid media campaigns. We are looking for an expert in paid search with experience across a breadth of channels including paid social, display, and video. Qualified candidates will have experience managing multi-million dollar annual budgets to drive highly qualified trials for B2B SaaS businesses.

Most importantly, you live and breathe digital marketing. You are a technical expert who stays current on all the latest tactics and techniques to improve campaign performance. You voraciously consume data, experiment with new approaches, and always beat your targets. Many people think you are smarter than Google. Your current team often turns to you when a tough quantitative decision needs to be made. And they think you have been optimizing advertising most of your life. Maybe you have.

While you think in numbers, you can clearly and succinctly communicate performance drivers and recommendations to a broad range of team members. You have confidence in your proven, data-backed processes and are eager to take on new things to broaden your experience. While you work hard and are driven, everyone loves collaborating with you.

Your work at Aha!

As Senior Digital Marketing Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage day-to-day paid search and paid social campaigns, as well as other campaigns across the Google stack including video and display

  • Optimize bids, keywords, creative, and more across all channels to meet and beat monthly trial goals within budget

  • Provide regular performance updates, dashboards, and forecasts to marketing leadership

  • Recommend new channels, approaches, and tools to find our audience and optimize performance

  • Connect the dots between different marketing channels; experience with multi-touch attribution is a plus

  • Work closely with the broader marketing team to meet your goals (especially creative, website, and SEO)

  • Continue to hone your craft by staying abreast of new developments in digital marketing
