Marketing at Aha!

Aha! is a very different type of high-growth SaaS company. We are self-funded, highly profitable, and 100 percent remote. We provide the world's #1 product development software so teams can build products that customers love. More than 600,000 product builders use our suite of tools which includes Aha! Create, Aha! Ideas, Aha! Roadmaps, and Aha! Develop. And they rely on our training programs via Aha! Academy to become product development experts. We are self-funded, highly profitable, always distributed, and have no sales team. Being an always-remote company means we can hire intrinsically motivated people who love to learn, support their teammates, and want to work from where they are happiest.

Our team

The Aha! marketing team is a highly collaborative group of experts across digital, content, and product marketing disciplines. We work within North American time zones so we can easily meet live on video and achieve more together.

  • We drive growth: Aha! does not have a sales team — marketing is responsible for increasing awareness and trial sign-ups.

  • We give big effort: We work exceptionally hard and fast, constantly producing content that engages new customers and brings value to existing ones.

  • We are curious: We seek to better understand our market, customers, and products so we can clearly articulate the unique value of what we offer.

  • We have fun: We care deeply about our teammates, always making time to celebrate, support, and laugh with each other.

  • We enjoy: We like what we do. And we want you to love your job too. Learn more about The Responsive Method, our company values, and the generous benefits we offer.

Our programs

The marketing team is responsible for driving customer growth and expanding company awareness. We are fortunate to be the category leader in product development software and a recognized thought-leader in building both great products and companies.

The Senior Corporate Communications Manager is responsible for driving awareness and advocacy of Aha! through earned media. In this role, you will own and execute our public relations (PR) strategy as well as manage our organic social media presence. You may also engage with analysts and will work closely with our Content team who will be your partner in creating thought-leadership content.

We do our planning and collaboration in Aha! Roadmaps. We are power users of our own software, often providing feedback and suggestions for improvements that are shipped to customers too. We use Slack and Zoom for video calls. (Email? Rarely.)

Your experience

We are looking for someone with 7+ years of experience managing PR and organic social media campaigns for SaaS businesses. You are an expert in devising and pitching stories to top media outlets and influencers. You will have existing relationships with relevant journalists and other influencers in leading technology and business publications.

You have always had a knack for creating engaging, sharable social media content. You stay up to date on the topics that are important to your audience and use social media to create mutually beneficial conversations with your audience. You take pride in sharing content that your audience values and keep your loyal followers coming back.

You love being the voice of the brand. And you love working closely with the broader marketing team to plan content that your audience — and the press — will love. You know how to identify content that will break through in the marketplace and like to work with content, writing, and research teams to make it happen.

If this sounds like you, we want to meet you!

Your work at Aha!

We work on a broad range of marketing initiatives and programs. As Senior Corporate Communications Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with the content team to identify on-brand assets and programs that will create conversations on social media and in the press

  • Supporting the writing process by defining creative briefs, providing writing support, and editing content assets as needed

  • Pitching Aha! stories to the press and maintaining relationships with top media outlets

  • Managing Aha! organic social channels including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube

  • Celebrating and promoting the Aha! brand and always looking for new ways to land our message in market, such as by liaising with analysts and exploring sponsorships

  • Helping to build and maintain a best-in-class methodology for measuring brand health and driving continuous optimization across communications efforts and initiatives

If the Senior Corporate Communications Manager role sounds appealing, we would love to hear from you. (A real human reviews every application.)
